Cracked Crab Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz canned crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced and hollowed

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, Colby Jack, and mozzarella until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in crab meat.
  4. Place hollowed French bread on the baking sheet.
  5. Fill the bread with the crab mixture and sprinkle extra cheese on top.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly and bread is golden.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve.
